Previously, I was impressed with Resi and I referred a lot of my friends to them, but now, I see MyRate is far more competitive. I am never the type of customer that I need you to sell me a product face to face, it's a time consuming and expensive process and ultimately, me as the customer have to pay for such service even it is listed as free by banks, but I wasn’t very sure at the start how this loan experience will turn out to be. Apart from little minor hiccups (by my former bank Bank West), MyRate was fast, speedy and Stephen even saved me major dramas on the last Friday to have the extra fund transfer so quickly. I believe the main reason is the low overheads i.e. no physical branches and skipping the broker and dealing directly. For people who know what they are after in a loan, dealing with a broker is a waste of money.
