Application Tips
Do you want to get your loan settled as soon as possible? Here are MyRate’s top tips to make sure your application goes through as quickly and smoothly as possible:
Check your ID’s are valid and correct.
Make sure names are consistent across all ID’s. If they aren’t, a Stat Dec may be required and may increase the processing time of your loan.
Check and double check that you have provided all supporting documents and that all details are correct.
- Your tax return copies must show the correct name
- Make sure all documents cover the required period of time.
- Check all addresses and bank account numbers.
Your employment check may occur after you have already received indicative approval but you still need to make sure that:
- The number you provide goes directly to the person you have nominated or to the HR switchboard
- The person you have nominated has been informed that an employment check will be conducted.
Be HONEST and UPFRONT
Disclose all defaults – Some defaults are okay and with a written explanation they can be worked around.
Have your solicitor or conveyancer check over your paperwork and loan documents for accuracy.
